The elusive Jessica McClure, known as “Baby
Jessica” to the world, has agreed to an interview on the Today show.
On Monday, McClure will do a one-on-one interview on the Today show with Matt Lauer, according msnbc.com.
The website refers to a recent USA Today story that named 25 people whose lives most moved Americans during the last quarter century. One of those was McClure, who at 18 months old in 1987 fell down a well in Midland and whose 58-hour rescue captured the nation’s attention.
During round-the-clock coverage, McClure captured the hearts of the world when she sang songs and recited nursery rhymes during her harrowing experience.
The interview will air on KWES-TV Channel 9 from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Monday.
